Today in class we watched a current point clip. The one that caught my eye was the protesting at the funeral of a homosexual soldier. The family sued the commit for protesting and the case ended up making it all the focus to the Supreme Court, which ruled 8:1 that the church was allowed to because of the broadcast amendment in the bill of rights: freedom of speech. Personally I front into that they have their freedom of speech but I go through it wrong that anyone would want to protest at a funeral. What shocks me the just about is that a church, the people of God, was the one protesting. To me, a person is a person no matter if they ar homosexual or straight. They should have the same rights as everyone else, and should add the same respect. ripe because they have different sexual attractions does non concoct they should be treated differently.
Sure if you read the bible it says that spousal is to be with one man and one woman, but ar we really going to look at some book, written with the laws of psyche who may not be real, to tell us who we git or cannot bask. I though love came from the spunk not what gender you are. I believe people are against gays because they timbre uncomfortable around these people who have give love with some one more like themselves.
