Sonnys Blues This level is slightly herb of grace and sorrow between to blood br early(a)s. This drool is meant to govern the written report of a young blood brother and his struggles with life and how decisions he do affected those slightly him. The problem I free-base with the report is that it never au sotically explained exactly what took stray in his life to drive him to where he was in his adult life. The story talked a little ab forth the relationship that he had with his father and the hardships he endured because he cute Sonny to be a better person. It talked about his experience and her protective ways. It then talks about the older brother and his regret for not being around to help his junior brother go through life without p arnts. Its about 2 brothers nerve-wracking to come to an experienceing of their relationship with each other and how their lives be affected by a few decisions that they made in the past. The author James Baldwin was born and raised in Harlem and so he has a great understanding of the story that he writes. When he talks of Sonny departure to Greenwich small town and the atmosphere it is because he too lived there. James Baldwin moved from the Harlem electron orbit shortly after high school because of the racial prejudices that are felt throughout Harlem.

Harlem has come to be know as a run down community that is for the most part live by those of poverty. Although it seems to be a cold and biased place Harlem is well known for its music, and that is what filled Sonnys life. symphony is the one positive thing that Sonny did begin to regard forward to ! in his life even though his family may not have understood it. It took his brother umpteen geezerhood and finally exit to listen to him play to understand what he had been through and what his music was about for him.
